What is the starting adjustments after repair for a Poulan Pro chainsaw modal #PP4218a? I had it running but it wouldn't idle. so I started adjusting the L & H adjustment screws and now it won't start.
So how many turns should I back them out after running the in all the way?

The old adjustment used to be 1 turn out, but some of the newer carbs run 3 turns out. So it is a guessing game.

Doesn't the carb have an IDLE screw ?? ....... separate from the Low/speed ...High speed jets ...??

I'd try 1 1/2. If that doesn't work, try 2.

This carb has a separate idle speed screw, but if the mixture isn't adjusted right it won't idle no matter what you do with the speed screw.
