(PowerMore, 1P61n0 model engine) I thought surely the erratic motor operation was a carburetor problem so ordered a new one (after the usual ignition, hoses, filters, etc., checks). After installing the new carb it ran just like it did before. Next I removed the covers and checked continuity on the kill switch. Switch checked good. I decided to completely disconnect the kill switch (it had an inline disconnect) and try running the engine. To my surprise it ran fine!! It turns out that the spark plug wire was laying in close proximity to the kill switch wire. I reconnected the kill switch wire and tied it back away from the spark plug wire and started the engine and it ran fine. Apparently the spark plug wire was feeding radiated signal into the kill switch wire and it was affecting the production of spark. This is a bit of a long explanation but I hope it saves someone from the grief I had locating the problem. Karel
