Which do you prefer and why? I've been using my trimmer to edge for years and get great results but I'm thinking of getting a dedicated power edger and wanted to hear from those who use a dedicated or multi-use tool such as a Kombi-System by Stihl or the Pro Attachment Series by Echo.

Echo straight shaft. Blades are easy to find and it does the work of a walk behind edger works great

I agree with exotion....Echo straight shaft.

Whatever brand ---- get the straight shaft ---- many more atachments available.

I have a Stihl ------> $400 + ( w/atachments )
