Poulan Pro 22HP - no reverse gear

hello all,

I have a poulan pro 22HP . (PB22VA48)
1) I do not know what happens but the reverse gear does not work, any tips?

2) The spring in the photo is broken. To change the spring should I take out the battery case or the rear black metal cap

3) Is it possible to upload a video? I would like to show you the tension in the belts, and to hear your opinions

First the transaxle needs a major cleaning and then the variation kit GT79254 is needed for one thing as that the only to get the broken spring. Even after this there is probably more repairs needed for that General Transmission RS800P as plastic parts do wear a lot.
