never too many posts of snappers... very nice work. that 1980 model looks in pretty good shape to start with. but i've never known why snapper made some models with steel wheels in back and plastic in front like how yours is set up. i guess it's the OCD in me needing things like that to match, i suppose they had a reason. do u have the front axle apron with the SNAPPER letters on it too?

thanks, yeah i was able to track down a front wheel bar with the snapper stamped in on ebay. that was priority one. couldnt stand not seeing the snapper logo. need to get an original style bag as well. yeah all in all its in pretty good shape. the deck is in WAY better shape than the other 2 was before i started. after this one id like to find that wisconsin robin and also am lookin for an aluminum deck one to do.

Off topic, is that a tundra rock warrior in the background? Mowers look awesome by the way. I have a snapper collection as well, I'll be posting my collection soon.

Is that a new engine replacing the Big Six?

Looking real good! Except for that john deere emblem on the recoil! Haha. Most of the snappers I find around here have steel rear wheels and plastic fronts. No clue why they would do that, but it bugs me too.
