Parking break issue, what is this that this bolt holds on?

Just started mowing, got off to move some branches, set parking brake (it felt weird when I engaged it), moved arms out, get off and it dies, Won't start back, starter won't engange. Tow it back to my shop and notice a bolt is missing out of this piece that engages the transaxle when the parking brake is set. For the life of me I cannot find this bolt or bracket on the parts diagrams. It's a 2019 MZ Magnum. W

Really should proof read posts. Looks like early elementary school student writing. Apparently no such work as engange. And break is not the same as brake.

And Bad Boy does not provide parts for the transaxles.

RH Hydro BB PN 050-4070-00 (Hydro Gear ZC-AUBB-3DKB-1PPX). I got lucky googling the BB PN as someone crossed it already.

It is the parking brake. If undamaged apply blue Loctite to the 1/4-20 x 1 shoulder screw and reinstall, torquing to 80-120 lb-in [9-14 Nm].

As the none starting problem it should not be causing that issue itself but there can cause damage to brake plate assembly which has the parking brake safety switch attached. Probably just not in alignment due the connecting rod out of place since it only held by the connecting rods and the brake cable. A very flimsy design.

Personally I see anything wrong with the parts myself from your image unless the teeth are worn off. Any way any good shop should should the HG part. I know I got one left in stock here which retails for $8.74. I should order a couple more as I got a rebuild that needs the one I got currently.

I got one customer here that eats through these brakes so much that he wore out the cog disks on his mower. He just keeps trying to move the mower before releasing the brakes.

It's just the bolt that backed out and was lost in the yard, it was enough to throw off the parking brake switch. Nothing is broke I just need that bolt.

Then you have to order brake kit as HG doesn't sell the screw separately. Just gives you a spare brake.
