So I bought a brand new mz rambler 42” and it was working great. Noticed it squeeked a bit after first mow and then the unthinkable happened and I bottomed it out when I hit a hole. The blades cut when I started it and I finished mowing but now my blades won’t fully engage. What should I check first? I know a bit but if someone has experienced this before what was your fix?

Look at the back. there is a belt guide that connects to the engine. Had same issue, everything you see on deck looks right. Blades will still move but burn up belt.

What exactly are you saying " wont fully engage " ? If it's an electric PTO - it either engages or not - is yours a manual lever type that you engage ?
