One mower to replace two

I have a Walker MHEFI 26 and a large John deer tractor that was built to mow large areas at a pretty high speed. The JD has three decks on it, left, right and one in the back. I'd like to replace both of these with a mulching mower that can handle both areas, if possible. The rougher area, is not that rough. the walker doesn't do well in the rough area. It's too rough for the walker. Any ideas?

How many acres are you mowing and how much you looking to spend?

close to one acre of lawn, and 3 acres of rough. 4-5K unless I need to spend a little more.
