has anyone ever installed and/or created an obd system on a lawn or garden tractor? would you be able to modify one from a car for on a mower? :confused2:thanks,

Could just permanently install a couple tools. A compression test, A spark test, Tachometer. Im sure it already has a voltage meter.
That's just what we need, instead of a customer who doesn't know what he's doing, we have a box telling us to just replace parts. If any of you have worked on four wheelers you know that a knowledgeable mechanic, knows more than the brain box. Just what I need another test instrument.

the only thing I would like is... a row a lights that told me which safety switch is triggered! One of the latest things for aftermarket auto wiring is that they have a box mounted in the car that shows the status of every connection... so if a blinker is supposed to be blinking and it is not, then you can easily trace it.
