hi I have just acquired a ride on mower that has been sitting in a barn for 3 years after getting it running I have noticed that the transmition is a bit sloppy is there a way you can change the fluid without having to take the gearbox apart it is not a hydro

:smile: Is it a trans or transaxle?. If transaxle, most used Benonite grease and not gear oil. Either way, the only way to work on them is to pull them apart. Although some trannies did have a drain plug.
