ok new to this forum not to Lawn Mowers or Tractors

well got a new one, will need some help. my son was so gracious after I completed my Small Engine Repair Class (Basic) he brought over a riding mower. Scotts S4216 (john deere), bought a manual for it but it is missing some parts, so if someone has one out there, I might need a snap shot to see what might be missing. I am mechanically inclined, have fix serveral mowers, powerwashers, etc.. since the class. Waiting on the Advance class to do more Motor Boats, electrical and riding mowers.

Just what do you mean missing parts ? engine parts or chassis parts also what kind of parts, The whole tractor is made up of parts

Missing Engine Parts. There are 2 wires by the blower housing, I know something has to attach there, could be a starter but not sure, I am going to purchase a Service manual I found online to assist me, only 25.00 covers everything, maybe I can see all sides of the engine. Front, Both Sides and Rear to see what is missing. I will take a few pictures and post them.
