oil circulation question

I would like to know that before starting an engine with a rope pull starter....if you pull it a few times without starting the engine...does it circulate some oil around/into the motor? Thank you. Pochie

Thanks Mark. I just changed my oil after warming her up and draining the gas and running her dry, then changed the oil and I didn't want to start her up again to lubricate the engine so I pulled her 6x. Storing for winter. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.
