Oil changing

Is there a hack or something i can use when changing my oil? On my Husqvarna HU700F mower,i tend to get oil on the deck and floor when tilting.Short of buying a pump (i prefer to tilt),what can i do to extend the neck?

Could you possibly fit a hose over the tube? Short piece maybe @ a foot?
It's kept my messes down.

Couple of things you might want to try. First, go to your local resale store and get an old cake pan or broiler pan with sides no higher than 2”. Don’t rob one from the better half’s cooking supplies without permission. The lower sides make it easier to hit. Second, I’ve got an extra large baking sheet, the type bakery’s use, which provides extra protection when doing shout dip stick tubes. Third, on some units, that I know will make a mess, I tip the unit first then remove the dipstick. A bit messy, but hands cleanup easier that floors.

I use a suction pump.
B & S markets a big syringe
Boating suppliers have the best range of sump pumps
I sell about a dozen or so syringe kits a year .
