Oil Change

Thinking of a new pressure washer. Simpson with Kohler SH270. It is one of these lifetime no oil change engines. Does anyone know if these can have oil changed easily? Someone asked Simpson how to change the oil on the SH270 and their response was you don't have to so they were no help. Just wondering if anyone who frequents here has changed oil on one of these SH270 Kohlers. Don't want to hang 70 lbs upside down once a year to drain oil.

As far as I know that engine still has a drain plug. so should be easy to change.

If it does not, get a vacuum plunger & suck it out. or up end the machine.

Just like on all push mowers or self-propelled mowers these days, tip Engine over, carburetor side up, and drain. Plan B is extract oil with pump. Whatever you do, don’t neglect to change your oil as some manufacturers say in recent years.

Yeah, their plans is to sell you a new mower soon or at least a new engine!
