I have a 2018 patriot with a 61 inch deck. About three months ago I shut it off and would not restart. No current to starter solenoid. Worked all the lever's, sat on seat, pushed the brake but nothing. Went out the next morning and started right up. No problem for two months. Tonight finished mowing went in to eat came out and no start just like before. Any suggestions. Is this a common problem on the patriot. Thanks for any info.
It will be a loose connection or a wire broken at the crimp connection
So start by checking the battery cables at both ends
Then wigle the fuse wires, pushing them into the housing
Do the same for all the other connections one at a time
After each one try cranking the engine
The last one you fiddle with before the engine cranks is the culprit
