I was very disappointed I couldn't find a Quietflite, let me know what you guys think of these treasures. The Snowboy to the right is ALL original!

The one on the left looks like 1960s but the one next to it looks older -- probably 1950s -- a real find.

As a life-long resident of the South, I don't have any experience with snow blowers -- and I plan to keep it that way.

Did you buy these?

I paid a LOT of money for these, but they were worth it. I got a 56, 57, and 68/69 engine I believe. The snowboy should be a 62 if I remember correctly. Which Lawnboy's do you have and are you interested in trading at all? This was a fun day!

My current Lawn-Boy collection:

2 1974 model 8232s (one running, one for parts)
1 1977 model 7266 (running)
1 1977 model 6255 (running)
1 1979 model 4550 (for parts)
1 1979 model R7268 (not running yet but will be OK - hopefully)
1 1983 model 7231 (probably going to be a parts mower but fixable)
1 1994 model 10415 (running but too heavy compared to the earlier ones)

The two 1977 mowers are my favorites but I like the model R7268 a lot - it's my most recent buy.

I may be interested in trading -- do you need any parts? It seems to me that shipping a complete mower would be very expensive.
