I was browsing through the 2013 Exmark Catalog today and I went to the walk-behind pages, and I didn't see the Exmark Metro 26. I just saw the Commercial 21 and the Commercial 30. Does that mean they will no longer be making it, and will just be replacing it with the Commercial 30 walk-behind?? http://www.exmark.com/pdfs/2013_Brochure.pdf

That is correct. From what I hear, the metro 26 didn't have the greatest sales. I ran a 30" and it was nice. And it could be swapped between side discharge to mulching pretty easily.

:frown: OK...I demo-ed the Metro 26 and was thinking about buying it but it was just OK...and it was hard to maneuver. Also, they probably wanted the name of the Commercial 30 to be the same as the Commercial 21. Not a different name like Metro 26, because it might have gotten confused with the plain old Metro walk-behind....the one below:

The 30" is a more compact machine. Easier to use and handle. And the price is pretty much the same as a metro 26

Thanks for the info....I still wish the Exmark Metro 26 and Commercial 30 had front caster wheels....it would be much easier to turn!
