I just bought this homelite 3514c 14" bar 35cc i was wondering if anyone has one and has any good advice on this saw i bought it as a alternative to a top handle saw for tree climbing

Not to many chainsaws on here these days. That looks to be another Chinese and or Taiwan made unit by the same folks who make them for many others. If it runs good then it will be a fine unit. If it does not I would take it back in a hurry. You yourself can let all of us know just how good or bad this unit is. Most of us could use the information.

it looks pretty solid. i donk know about their new saws though. their old ones are great.

It's is a wonderful saw pelenty of power for a 14" I use the thing to drop a 65 foot pine and i could climb with it to like a top handle it was just as easy to do fires first or second pull i love it i would saw go for it. It was only 109.99 so i say spend the money and get it

I might end up buying one of these I have needed a chainsaw for light duty stuff I don't cut down trees but I have been considering a chain saw but can't justify buying a nice one like stihl or echo just to expensive so I am going to add this to my to do list
