New ZT Elite - control arm issue

Just purchased a ZT Elite and the control arms are very stiff, is this normal? I have a troy-bilt mustang 42 and they move like butter. I hope there is an adjustment because I don't care for tightness.

If the control arms have isolation dampeners they can appear stiff, but in time will loosen up, but will help eliminate the jerkiness of hitting bumps.
