New to own a mulching deck

Hi!

I own two John Deere tractors, an X500 with a 48c deck, and a X300 with a 42c mulching deck. I purchased the X300 to hopefully improve my lawn and thicken it up a bit. It has thicken the lawn but using the 300 I've sacrificed the uniform cut I received with the X500.

How do I solve this dilemma?

OK so I have spent the last hour scouring the web trying to find the answer to your question. I have but you will not like it. Every one says it has a bad cut and the regular deck with a mulching kit works better. So the answer is you should have just bought the mulching kit for your X500. Sorry for the answer.
