Hello. My name is Rick

I just recently joined the forum.

I bought a second hand Troy Bilt Pony rear Tine tiller. I was told before I bought it that the reverse did not work. I first tried to find the serial number. The original sticker had been removed.

I looked thru several manuals online till I found a motor that looked like mine.

I believe it is a 1983 Troy Bilt Pony.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I could find out exactly what the serial number is through some other casting stamp?
