Hello and Thank You,
I'm getting back into the business of taking care of lawns. I'm 75 years young and wanting to get back in chasing a lawnmower on a really part time thing. Been doing it since Feb.1959 off and on. I have a formal education in Landscape Maintenance from Cal.Poly.Univ. from Pomona, California. And along the way I have acquired through sweat and tears, a lot of equipment. Most of it is from the 50's, 60's and even up to date.
One of them is an 18 inch, Mott Hammer Knife flail mower, from the 50's that runs very good, along with a spare one! Another is my 20 inch Cal.Trimmer mower and companion edger I purchased in 1967 both are well used, but in good shape. I also have hand tools that a gardener would have used if he didn't have much money. My collection is very important to me, because at the time I needed them to earn a living.
I also have a 25 inch Cal.Trimmer that is almost new, purchased in 1980's.
I stopped using every thing and put them in storage, because I went full time driving a King County Transit bus, to make a living to survive in these times. So I have all of this equipment and am now retired and really like following the mower.
This is the first time I have discussed, and don't know just what you want to know?
I'll sign off for now.
Thanks for listening. ChoiceDalton
