Hey guys.Over the past few months some you guys have got to know me and that I have been unemployed for 18 months.I worked for GE for 5 years (driving a truck) and they shut down the factory that we hauled out of,so there went our jobs too.We hauled light bulb glass to other locations to be made into a bulb.Of course,that work went to China and Mexico......keeping in mind that the CEO of GE sits on Obama's economic council for keeping jobs in the US....what a joke!!Well...anyhow.....just got a new job!!!!!Start in the morning.I just wanted to say thanks for the new friends that I made here and thanks for all the support that you guys have gave me!!!I am still here....maybe won't be posting as much...but still going to here.And for those of you that are unemployed,don't give up,keep looking.jc:dance1:

Just a follow-up on the new job.I LOVE IT!!!Sure is funny how things work out.I couldn't have found a better job anywhere.I live in the country and it is exactly 10 miles from the house to work.....there is nowhere else closer to my house.It is family run and everyone is as nice as they can be.Home every night and every weekend.I am making the same money as I was when I was on the road.I was out of work for 18 months and have got to admit.....I got a little depressed at times......resume after resume sent out...and nothing back.Anyhow,just wanted to follow up and let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking!!!!jc

Hey Mower Manic......I didn't vote for him the first time...and I won't be voting for him this time!!!Him and congress in general,are SOLD OUT...AT OUR EXPENSE!!!!I am almost 56 years old and I would have NEVER believed this country would be stolen from the people like it has.And the bad part of it....they have only just begun!!!!!Well.....you went and got me started....lol......I gotta go and take a few dozen blood pressure pills now....lol!!!!!jc

jc56,congts. My boy just found another job,I was paying his rent.Thank God he found another job.You are right about the Gov. selling us out,I think everyone of em needs to be given their pink slips....russ
