Hello folks! I'm new to this wonderful forum. Earlier this year, I was bitten by the lawn mower repair bug and I'm not sure if there's a cure. Currently reworking a John Deere L120.
Model 406777
Type 0128-E1
Code 030516YG
L120
GXL120A062841
I'm looking for an air filter cover and 2 thumb screws. I believe the part to be AM134849. Every place I search it shows to be an obsolete part. Here is a pic:
All help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

I looked your engine up in my Briggs account and the part is N/A No part number either for that one...... So you can search around the junk yards for mowers or buy the whole shroud and cover for the one that is used after the 04 code date......
I see 4 thumb screws on those and you only have 2 ......... It might be a generic picture I am seeing though...
Here is the link for it ......... You Need part 968A
According to the #'s you posted and the year of your engine, yes that is the one...... In my Briggs account it shows that number for a 03 engine .........
I do have a mower junk yard in my area if you want me to find out..... In fact if you not in a big rush I have to go right by there in the next week to work on a tractor....
I also need to go there for Boo Boo and 2 more mowers to work on.........
Let me know Mon Ami ~!~!

Hey Boo your links are not coming up on my end.... It says invalid ????
If anyone can help me locate one, I'd be very appreciative. I don't know what this used part would cost but have to keep that air filter covered up! I'll start making some calls. Again, thanks.
I got very lucky today. I went back to the location of the estate sale (my wife has an estate sale company) at which I picked up the mower. Not three feet from where the mower was, sat an old box of stuff and sure enough, the air filter cover and two thumb screws was in there along with the canopy for the mower.
Thanks for all who reached out to me. I'll post a piston question next...
