New Coils and Plugs, Now Hard to Start!

Good news and bad news to report. Good news is that it will start. Bad news is that it takes 20-30 seconds or more of cranking. Before replacing coils, unit would start in 5-10 seconds.

Used the business card trick for the coils. Still started hard, like 20-30 seconds of cranking. Double checked valve clearance. LOOSE! Adjusted valves and.........STARTS!! Thank you to all!! Mechanic Mark is da maaaaaaaaaaaaan!

Used the business card to gap the coils. Still hard to start, like 20-30 seconds of cranking. Double check the valves and they were LOOSE! Adjusted the valves and STARTED! Runs great. Thanks to all. Mechanic Mark is da maaaaaaann!!
