Here's my newest mower. Just picked it up today. It's I very good shape. With some minor work, it should make a really nice mower. Don't see too many of this style so I had to have it.

Even the paint looks great. What's type of metal is the constructed from. Prior owner must have taken good care or had a lazy teenager like me!

That mower looks great for a machine roughly 30 years old. It certainly has been well cared for and has low hours.

Please keep us posted on how it works out.

Thanks. It's a steel deck. I was told it was always kept inside. It actually still has the green paint on the underside of the deck.

Update: I've got it running now. Had to clean carb, new needle & seat, float, and gasket. Had to switch the coil out as well. Cleaned muffler out, sharpened the blade and installed a mulch fan. Then wiped her down, and gave it a new set of nos wheels. I have a repro decal ordered for the left side of the shroud.

That looks very nice. You could probably get big bucks for it on eBay.

Where did you get the nos wheels, BTW? Were the wheels that came with it bad? I'm a little surprised if they were since it looks like it has very low hours.

Looks great. Where do you get your carb parts from?

Thanks for the comments. I'm fortunate to live near a hardware store that used to be a LB dealer a long time ago. They kept their parts inventory, lucky me. That's where I get most of my parts, including the wheels. The old ones had some wobble to them, so I decided to put the new ones to use. Not sure if white was original, or green. Seems like I've seen green wheels on other models like this one.
