OK, so my son who is more mechanically inclined then most his age, took apart our snapper mower model 21335p to change the belt and left it for a couple weeks ago. Well he forgot how it goes back together. If someone has a picture I could look. It would be great. There is a pully left over.lol.. A close up rear view over the area where the belts and pullies are I think would work. Hope he learned his lesson this time.

Is it the smaller idler pulley that was left off? If there's no tension on the belt that's probably it. Hope these pics help u some.

Looking at your pics all those look right , If you look where the spring that is hooked to the rod that goes to your handle that you push to engage you self propel ,on the spring you can screw the spring together and you pull up the little arm and it will engage the drive. I see you are from CA. I live central valley Merced.
