need help finding engine 4 my chripper

i have a yard mach with a blown moter rod went out the side of block but the crank is still ok the moter is a 5.5 briggs and straton model 13 72 13 typ 1313 b1 any help out there
 
That's a fairly common engine. I would go to your local repair shop and see if they have any mowers around with bad drives. Should be able to get a used engine fairly cheap. Any over way would be putting more money into your unit than it is worth.

there was never a plate stamped on chipper but the enging is a model 13 72 12 typ 1313 b1 code 990216ya
