need a replacement engine for a ZT2352T

My 23HP Kohler engine is beyond repair. It has a cv23s spec 75562. It appears that they no longer make a direct replacement engine. Does anyone have any suggestions for an engine that may work?
 
Try eBay. They show several used Kohler 23hp engines. I suggest going with a Kohler Command instead of a Kohler Courage if given a choice.

The crankshaft dimensions is the most important factor, and they should be the same.
 
The connecting rod came loose from the crank. The crank is damaged along with the governor, and of course the rod. While the rod did not go through the block it did put a crack in it.
