Mysterious Electrical Problem

I have a 2019 Simplicity Conquest Model 2691339-01. At the beginning of the season I found a mouse nest under the miter shroud. No mice were in the nest. I took the shroud off and looked for any signs of chewed wiring. I found none. I have replaced solenoid and circuit breaker next to the solenoid. I have to disconnect the power and reconnect the power either from the circuit breaker or battery for it to start. It runs fine after it’s started. I have also replaced the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I apologize you are correct, I've been having a senior moment. Is your new 12 volt battery 350 CCA (cold cranking amp)?
Are you in the USA?

2691399 is not a Simplicity Conquest. Use OEM Simplicity Parts.
It is a conquest. The manual shows nothing. Related to the issue I’m having. I’ve called dealers, and they say it’s the dashboard control panel, which doesn’t make since to me

Simplicity has Briggs and Stratton parts, and it can take over 6 months to get parts

You need 350 CCA per your manual. Return battery for correct battery, no wander engine will not start. B&S Parts are readily available, try using B&S Parts Store.
