My Kohler 15.5 hp runs starts up fine, but

This engine Kohler15.5 HP has a lot of vibration on idle and even running full speed with mowing. Wondering what to check out on it? Lots of power starts fine and is mowing fine just worried with the vibration. Engine is tight on frame and just don't know that to do next?? thanks for any help. It's on a craftsman LT 1000 42 " deck
The mower vibrates with or without the blades in gauged. Idling or full power.

Hello roreyy,

Remove the deck and lift the main chassis up to check the drive belt and pullies. This sounds like a drive belt has lost some chunks out of the inner portion. That will create a vibration like you described.

If that is the case, I suggest you replace the belt and both tensioner pullies.
