What is the best way to trouble shoot to find the problem and solution? It is a Ferris IS1500Z, with Kawasaki 25 hp. The charging circuit fuse burned big time, even damaging the fuse block. I know I must replace the wiring harness because it has the fuse block (holder) made into it. Already ordered the wiring harness but need to find and fix the problem which caused the fuse to blow.
Since all the evidence is in your wire harness, "That" is most likely where the problem originated. Had the same thing happen on a Lazer Z. Wires got pinched and shorted frying the whole harness.
