I have a 2001 craftsman 7500 0-turn it runs great till i engage PTO and then it bogs down and shuts off can someone help with some suggestions

Lets isolate the issue a little bit. Remove the deck belt from the engine pulley and then start the mower and engage the deck. Does it keep running or still bog down and die. If it dies that we have a safety switch issue most likely the seat switch circuit. If it keeps running then most likely there is a froze up pulley or blade spindle.
