a guy gave this to me and said he had it running till mice got to it.every wire accept the battery,solenoid and starter were removed.no ignition or safety switches.it had no battery so I tried jumping from my from the solenoid and starter but it didn't have enough power to spin the motor unless I took the plug out.i adjusted the valves but still nothing.i took the starter apart and it is all black inside and im sure it was fried even though it spun.the guy told me he was jumping from the solenoid and I don't no how long he did this.anyway I have to buy a new starter,battery and probably a coil cause the mice chewed threw it.should I get a coil and starter to see where im at with this?i'll only be out sixty dollars and should have a good mower.i plan on putting a push button starter and a toggle switch to kill the engine.
