I have an older model Murray riding mower.
Recently the deck belt tore, I was thing it was an easy fix
so I ordered a new one from Murray. My problem is,
I can’t get the new belt over the rear pulley. There seems to be no room
between the pulley and the motor housing. I tried removing the
5/8” bolt holding the pulley but the pulley don’t come off just drops
about an inch and still not enough for me to slip the belt on. Any and
all help would be greatly appreciated ....Jim
