Does anyone what type of stop this mower needs? If you have one for sale, I'd be willing to buy. 20190703_004441.jpg20190703_004441.jpg

You already have the proper shut off for that unit. The bail cable from the handle to the engine is both a kill and brake for the engine. When you release the handle the brake will slow the engine and kill the spark to stop the engine.

Can you post the model number on the deck and a pic of the upper handle?

You will need two part, bail handle and bracket. Bail handle part number is 01147MA and the bracket number is 43628BC. Looks like both are NLA, but you should be able to find them at your local small engine bone yard or EBay.

Thank you for help buddy. This thing is a 92 model and it's such good shape, so I figured it would be worth putting together.

You should be able to jury rig one. Take your pictures with you and measure between the uprights. If you can find a pile of old mowers you should be able to get what will work but at least you have the engine brake/switch itself and the cable for it. The rest is cake. You probably will never find another mower of any kind from that year in the condition of that one. This mower in '92 was probably $95, and it even has wheel adjusters.
