MTD won't start

Howdy. I have an MTD 18M push mower that won't start at all. I just replaced the spark plug, carburetor, and fuel filter and still no luck. After replacing the carburetor, I did confirm that fuel is being delivered to the carburetor.
Any suggestions what I should look at next? BTW, does anyone else have this model? Thank you in advance.

I'm not a pro but......
Will it run if you shoot a little fuel or starting fluid in the spark plug hole?
(Remove spark plug, pour about a teaspoon of fuel in hole, reinstall spark plug and try and start)

If it runs for a few seconds you're not getting fuel.
If it doesn't its not getting spark.
