Just wondered if someone could help me I have an MTD Sprinto ride on mower. It has 4 triangular holes in the deck 3 of which are covered by tape of some kind and the other isnt I am getting grass into this area above the deck. Do I just put tape on the hole to stop this , seems odd they were made this way do they serve a purpose ?

i would just throw some tape over it. did you get the thing new? or used? if its used then someone could have put a deck on a different mower. they are probably taped just for the rust factor
