I am thinking of buying a 5 month old LT96. I am told the engine is a B&S series 3 125. what does this mean and is it powerful enough for a garden of about 1 acre of grass on a gentle slope? The ground is clay and gets very wet from around now til spring.
This is a machine that was made for and bought in France.
Any experts out there who can advise me?

Can you get the model numbers off the engine? This will tell us the engine size and type and we will be able to give you a better answer.
