MS271 Side Cover Upgrade

Well, I've gone and done it.... I lost one of the nuts that holds the side cover on my MS271. Has anyone upgraded their cover to one that has the captive nuts, like on the Pro saws?
 
Good questuon. There are some aftermarket ones for some of the old pro saws but they are kinda expensive. There was a thread quite a while back on another forum where a guy modified his stock cover and added the new style nuts. Sounded like a bit if work. I just carry 4 extra nuts in my saw box.

I assume you are referring to the Bar Cover Nuts? I dropped one in my workshop a few years ago, and had a dickens of a time finding it. I went to EBAY and bought 4 for about $5, and haven't lost another since. Upgrading the cover, if such is available, would probably buy you a big pile of these nuts.
