How many of the members here feel they have just the right amount of area that they can devote the right amount of time to? I mean, if you are into gardening and hate mowing, do you have a huge garden but a small yard that requires minimal care? If you would rather plant trees and flowers and construct new planters, do you forego a garden so you have enough time to make your grounds beautiful? If your yard has to look like a putting green, does the thought of planting, weeding, and transplanting give you a nightmare?
I love to grow Iris and other flowers, but keeping the planters neat takes too much of my time because I would rather grow tasty tomatoes to share with family and neighbors instead. And my garden sometimes gets neglected because I have too much yard area to care for, it's full of weeds and lumps but it's of little use to try to make it nice as it's too darn BIG to care for properly.
Hopefully there are a few people on LMF who have their priorities and areas well balanced, I can tell you right now I'm never gonna be one of them...:confused2::thumbdown:
