Mower dies when blade engaged and moving

I can go forward and reverse. I can have the blades engaged with the clutch in, but when i try to move forward with the blades engaged it chokes and dies. thoughts/solutions?

Post the model number and brand of the mower.
Likely it is a switch on the seat or shifter that is the problem area.

Bolens by MTD, 6 speed shift on the go Lawn Tractor. runs forward and backward without blades engaged, can engage blade in neutral but when going forward it bogs down and dies.

Google the model # and you get parts houses. Can see diagrams and schematics of how LT fits together.

Look at Page F17 and you see an interlock switch for PTO. Page D22 shows seat safety switch.
Like Fish says - probably 1 of these has failed.
