I think BK is correct. Lots of speed, and a razor sharp blade..
In all seriousness, the only advice I have are the following tips:
1. Mow it when it as dry as you can get it.
2. Use super sharp blades.
3. Don't try to take a full mower's width at once. About 1/3 to 1/2 is about all most mowers have enough power for.
4. Don't let your grass get too high to begin with. Ideally, you don't want to take more than a third of your grass off at once anyway. Around here, 2 mowings a week is what it has been taking to keep things under control.
5. Don't try to bag and cut tall grass simultaneously.
