I have a hustler flipup. The motor starts and runs a few seconds and dies. Is this a pluged fuel filter?

Could be many different things, but before we can help you we need you to help us. Remember we are not standing next to you with a good cocktail in hand to see what you are talking about. Trump has tied up our ESP in court, so you must be our eyes and ears, so we need to know the following. All engine numbers so we know size and type of engine you have. Has this problem been on going or just showed up? What have you done to try to rectify the problem? How old is this unit? Who does the servicing and when was it last done? What was done the last time it was serviced? You must now be Norman Rockwell and paint us the best picture you can so we have a better understanding of your problem. Without your help we can’t be of much service to you.

You only answered two of my questions, so I can’t give you a lot of help. Doubt the problem is the fuel filter. Best I can help you now is to give you this service manual, and hope you can become a better painter. https://www.kohler-engine-parts.opeengines.com/pub/SM_3269012_EKT730,EKT740,EKT745,EKT750_8_17.pdf
