When checking on non flat tires I find most tires have a three numeral size indication.
IE 4.80/400-8. My tire has only the 4.80-8 stamped in it.
The max tire dia is 15in, max width 4in, hub 4in wide and 3/4 dia axle shaft.
Is the second number in a three nbr designation the width?l
I live in central Iowa, have 60 acres of wooded recreational property.
mostly oaks and juniper but enough Honey Locust trees to be a pain.
I have trails cut in the woods, hence the trail mower. have a fleet of
atvs and 6 wheel Argos for the kids and grandkids to ride when they visit.
All have Slime in the tires and the thorns from the Locust trees on these are
seldom a problem, probably don't average more that a couple plugs a season.
I think remembering counting the tires around the place and came up with 63.
An older farmer here told me that during the 2ndWW, barbed wire was impossible
to get. Farmers were encouraged to ring their property with Honey Locust trees.
