LX 277 struggles up hills after warmed up in summer.

In winter tractor goes everywhere fine. In summer it struggles to go up hill.

I added transmission fluid last fall. It was a little low. It’s dark if that’s a clue. Hours unknown but the machine mows 8-10 hours per month for 4 months and maybe 3-4 hours in 2 other months in the slow growth season. I’ve had it since new. 17-18 years old. Serviced every fall by certified jd technician. JDEERE LX277 AWS. the trans belt must be internal, yes?

The belt runs from the engine to the tranny. If it has not been changed in the last three years I would start there. Also, check the belt tensioner and tensioner pulleys.
