We recently moved to a house with a almost three acre lot. Our cub has become more of a lawn tractor than a mower. The turf tires are not up to the job. I got stuck twice mowing and was not in the "bad" part.
Has anyone tried using lugged i.e. like real tractor tires, on their cub? The current rear tires are 20x9-8. I do not see any lugged ones that size so I'm looking for suggestions of a size that might fit without interfering with the finders or mowing deck.
The biggest tires for an 8 inch rim is 22x11x8 I believe. Look at atv tires. I had some 22x10x8 on a craftsman lt1000 at one time and fit with room to spare.
