Maybe put it in neutral or something....I don't know much about riders. :confused2: Hopefully since I responded others will see this post and respond also.

I have a 2007 LT180 and if your is hydro drive there shold be a little metal handle on the back above where the hitch is. If you pull it out it releases the hydro, push it back in before you try to drive it.

Let me suggest obtaining an Operator's Manual. The information in some of them isn't very detailed but cover operation and often do explain the basic maintenance like belt changes etc.

Those are nice lawn tractors, enjoy it. :thumbsup:
