I recently acquired a lowes12.5 / 38 lawnmower and it needs a blade drive belt. there are no identifying Numbers on the lawn mower. How can i figure out what belt I need?

Get us the model information off of the engine. Sometimes the engine model number info can be traced back to a lawnmower model number. Briggs will say model, type, code, Kohler will have a model number, specification number, and serial number.

Neighbor has similar and we ended up with a 90".
Bought from O'reillys for $15.00 or $17.00
Later found out stock is 90.5". 90" works great.
