Hey all, I have a 2014 Craftsman Pro Series T7400 with one of those RS800 plastic transmissions and I'm looking to put something else on it. It has a heavy 54" reinforced deck and I mow a hilly property. I have a Tuff Torq K46 sitting around from a parts mower, but I'm worried that if I rebuilt it, changed the fluid, and installed it, that it would fail after a few months. What should I do? This model does have the fuel tank above the transmission and is a foot-pedal drive, so there may be fitment issues, but I guess I could add spacers or other fabrication if that occurs. I would like to put in either a Tuff Torq, which seems to be the most direct swap, or a Hydrogear GT transaxle. If you guys have any transaxles laying around, let me know! I am near Portland, Oregon.
